Traveling in Europe, If I live here do I need a passport to go to another nation via airplane?
I'm a soldier stationed in Germany, I understand that the EU countries have open borders. If I fly from Germany into Italy, France etc. Would I need a passport or is an ID card okay?

Since you are an American citizen, yes you will need a passport to enter other European countries. Your military passport can only be used when traveling on orders, so you also need a regular passport if you want to travel for tourism. See 1st site below to check on any country and verify that you need a passport to enter. 2nd site indicates that at times you can travel as a tourist on your military passport, but that is not usually the case. you do need the civilian passport for that case, as well as all family members needing one too.

Do you feel we would attack, with unending determination, foreign troops forcing disagreeable government?
I ask because I'm sure that most Arab patriots, especially being Islamic, don't give a ___ about a US soldier's noble goals for them, just as the US patriot would feel and respond if foreigner soldiers came here to forced their ways upon us (and intend to have control of our natural resources). Shouldn't we leave now and put our troops on our borders here?
You don't appear to have been paying attention recently.
More and more the average Iraqs have been rallying to us against al Qaeda and radical elements. So you'll have to put up some support for your bald assertion that the new government there is disagreeable in some way.
We haven't forced anything on anyone. We forced the old regieme out and then asked the Iraqis what they want'ed to replace it with. The current government is reflective of Iraqi will, not ours.
Same story in Afghanistan, it just didnt' take as long to convince them that we were not there to stay or take over. Then again, we didn't abandon the Afghans in recent memory like we did the Iraqis in 1991, so there's some justification for distrust.
So to correct the strawman you present--if foreign troops came into the US and put down a brutal dictator, removed his sons who only promised further generations of repression and then helped us rebuild what had been destroyed, protected our neighborhoods and helped us set up elections for a new government, then no, I would not fight them unless I beleived that it was a deception or that they'd abandon us to chaos anyway.
