What is the legal age for firing an air rifle in New Brunswick?
My son is 13 and wants me to buy him an air rifle. I do not have a gun license but i do know how to shoot a gun properly. I was wondering if he has to be 18 to use it and if it is a good idea for me to buy him one. Also some good models of air guns and good places to buy them would be appreciated.

It might be a better idea to allow him to "earn" the rifle. I'm sure you can come up with something, could be improving his grades, doing chores, actually earning the money himself, or...

Two that I would recommend "in general" for most 13YO boys.
I would highly recommend the Benjamin 397**, but a PAL is required. A 397 would make a very good rifle now, and since they are built to last a lifetime. He will have fun teaching his kids & grandkids how to shoot with it someday.

Does anyone know where i can buy a bb rifle in the New Brunswick, NJ area?
I know the flea market on route 18 sold them but i heard that closed. I'm over 18 and already have a bb pistol
