Camelot Mordred

Does Mordred kill Arthur Pendragon?
I love Arthur, but I will see no harm come to Mordred, he is a young druid boy, only about ten years old. I have heard from my half sister Morgause that one day Mordred will kill Arthur. I hope not.
what should i do? return to Camelot, put up with Uther and abandon Mordred to save Arthur?
or
Should I stay and do nothing, meaning Arthur can die?
In medieval times, Arthur is never called Pendragon. Pendragon was a surname of his father Uther and in that time, and in the 5th and 6th century, surnames were not usually inherited.
The Victorian poet Alfred Tennyson may have been the first to call Arthur, the Pendragon.
Morgain/Morgana is usually considered to be a full sister to Morgause/Moracdés, both of them being half sisters to Arthur, not to each other. No medieval account suggests that anyone but Merlin and one hermit foresaw Modred’s future deeds, certainly not Morgause/Morcadés.
What Morgain does in many of the medieval tales is to take the mortally wounded Arthur to the Island of Avalon to be healed, or to have him taken there.
Perhaps you should stop viewing so much television.
You are not Morgana.

| | Camelot - Anniversary $34.99 Joshua Logan directs this lavish version of the Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe Broadway success with Richard Harris, Vanessa Redgrave, and Franco Nero in the lead roles originally portrayed on Broadway by Richard Burton, Julie Andrews, and Robert Goulet. The musical, based on T.H. White's The Once and Future King, chronicles the legend of King Arthur (Richard Harris) and his tortured love affair with his queen Guenevere (Vanessa Redgrave). Arthur first encounters Guenevere, on the day of their wedding, in the enchanted forest surrounding Camelot. After the wedding, Arthur's bliss at his marriage to the lovely Guenevere prompts him to establish the Knights of the Round Table, a lofty order of chivalry in which all the member knights are bound by a desire the help the oppressed, keeping faith with trust and honor. Such is the fame of the Knights of the Round Table that a young French knight, Lancelot Du Lac (Franco Nero), seeks to join the order. Lancelot quickly becomes the most celebrated of all the knights, and Guenevere, aloof at first, falls in love with him. Although both have a deep love for Arthur, their passion knows no bounds, and they begin an illicit love affair behind Arthur's back. Arthur ignores the rumors circling around him, but when his illegitimate son, Mordred (David Hemmings) arrives at Camelot, he exposes Lancelot and Guenevere during a tryst. Lancelot escapes, but Guenevere is sentenced to be burned at the stake. Lancelot rescues her at the last minute, and Arthur prepares for battle, his dreams of an idealistic Camelot shattered. ~ Paul Brenner, Rovi |

Camelot- Mordred sings 7 Deadly Virtues. Bobby Steggert
WDYT of these Arthurian names?
I just randomly feel like asking something like this... So, here's a list, you can rate, favourite, comment them... whatever.
BOYS:
Arthur
Merlin
Lancelot
Albion
Uther "OO-ther"
Camelot
Mordred
GIRLS:
Avalon
Guinevere
Morgana "more-GHANA"
Morguase "more-GOSE"
They're just the major characters (though Albion, Camelot and Avalon are technically places). So... WDYT?
Thanks in advance!
Leigh- Yeah, I'm a bit of a Merlin freak actually. Morgana will be my baby's name if it turns out to be a girl (they've told us it's a boy), not because of Arthurian Legend, but because my father's name is Morgan.
I quite like the Lady of the Lake's name as well. In some stories she is called Freya (as well as in the BBC series Merlin). I LOVE the name Freya.
BOYS:
Arthur - so cute! I love it!
Merlin - cool, but he might get teased for his name
Lancelot - awesome, and has the cute NN Lance
Albion - interesting, it could grow on me
Uther - not really my style, I prefer Luther
Camelot - don't like, it would be a hard name to grow up with
Mordred - I love it!
GIRLS:
Avalon - lovely, but getting popular
Guinevere - gorgeous, and i love the nickname Gwen
Morgana - WAY nicer than Morgan, it's lovely
Morguase - hmm, nice, but it might be hard for some people to pronounce

Yeah, basically the whole Arthur/Gwen thing and Mordred are his biggest mistakes. Since they bring down Camelot and all that
