Cast Cottage
I want to keep back boiler in my 50s tiled coal fire, wish to replace with a Victorian cast iron. Possible?
Small victorian cottage with tiled fireplace which I wish to replace with Victorian cast iron and wooden mantle. Love the back boiler and wish to keep. Is this possible?
Yes, easy. Just be careful not to puncture the boiler when taking out the old fireplace, it will be copper about the size of a petrol can and lying on it's side.

World Premiere of 'The Cottage' attended by cast and crew
decorating a victorian house...?
I'm in the process of purchasing my favorite house in the world, an 1860's victorian house. My husband is going to do all the restoring and I'm doing all the decorating. I just wish that I had pictures of various Victorian or "country cottage" style rooms. Are there any good websites that showing pictures like this? I like antique designs, and I like either clean bright colors & styles (lilacs, baby blues, crystal, white wood) or dark victorian styles ( plums, burgundy, hunter green, cast iron, dark wood) so either would be great. I want to see all my options so I can get it together here. So what are some good websites to see ideas? Has anyone out there restored a Victorian house who can tell me about it?
