Celtic Chariot
Can someone give me a second opinion on my tarot reading?
I did my tarot the other day and I think I have a pretty good idea of what it is trying to tell me but I would love a second opinion.
I used the Celtic cross spread so those who are familiar can help me with that.
The spread is (if shown on a compass) 1&2 in middle, 3 is north, 4 is east, 5 is south and 6 is west. 7,8,9 and 10 are like normal.
My cards are:
1. The Tower
2. The Chariot
3. Ace of pentacles
4. Two of rods (reverse)
5. The Sun
6. The Magician
7. King of Pentacles (this one threw me off)
8. Queen of Rods (reverse)
9. Page of Pentacles (reverse)
10. Ten of Swords (reverse)
Just an FYI I use these for enlightenment and insight...not for paganism or anything.

Does any one know how to interpret tarot cards?
I did a celtic spread just to see the current nature of all things around me and this is what i have:
the chariot
9 of wands
temperance
9 of cups
the emperor
the empress
page of swords
seven of pentacles
6 of pentacles
nine of swords

It would be much easier for you to learn about general card meanings and then interprit this based on what you know about your situation. You can connect this to your life- I can't. I don't know about your life. Also, there are some variations on the Celtic spread and you do not appear to be using th one I use. Mine has 11 cards. Yours has 10. Also, you do not say if you wish to use reversed meanings or not, but if you do, you have not told us if your cards were reveresed (upside down) or not (right side up) in the spread. Some people choose to read the cards as right side up, no matter how they are turned, but some choose to interprit upside down ones differently. I think it is what feels right to you. When you look at the card upside down, do you feel its meaning should be the same because the symbolism is the same, or different because it is turned on its head? Some decks don't claim reverse meanings, but I say, no matter what the deck, I just go with what feels right to me. You can even try doing the readings with and without reverse meanings and see which one is usually more accurate for you, then you can start using that one regularly. If you let someone else shuffle them, though, tell them to go with what they feel works best, or again, do both reversed and right side up readings on the same spread for them till you find which works best for them.
Did you get a book with your cards that told you about the individual card meanings? Different decks often have similar, but different symbolism and may also have slightly diff. card interpriations. For instance, some decks show the lovers enamored with one another, but in other decks, one lover is distracted by a different person or something. It would also be easier to try and interprit (I'm not a master at all) somewhat if I knew exactly what your celtic cross spread looked like (as I said, there are diff. ones) so I would know what each position meant that those cards are falling into. The position they are in affects their meanings somewhat. Also, I can't connect it to your life as well as you can. You can look these cards and their meanings up online, including reverse meanings. In fact, here is a link you can use. This may help you- it has card meanings. I would not rely on one single site, though I like this one rather well. I'd look the same card up on different sites, to gather as much info on one card as I could. Also, look at your card and think about if you have any idea what the symbolism and words suggest to you.
