@Samuel: So, did you PK Drizzt during the chance encounter in BG or in SOA? :p
I could survive Fallout 1 without a game editor , but if I remember, Fallout 2 was alot harder and the game editor was necessary. Many of the enemies were simply too strong and as Dr Foo said, there were extremely high chances of screwing up the entire game unknowingly by killing someone or even by irritating key NPCs into turning hostile. I also remembered something about how low karma could hinder you from performing many tasks or something to that extent.
Incidentally, anyone remembers an old man in FO2? (I think) during the chance encounter where just by talking to him, you can get 99999999 HP or something.
