Julius Caeser's conversation with Hannibal?
During the seige of Carthage, it is known that Caeser and Hannibal met eachother on the field for a commanders conference/discussion. What I want to know is, what did these to giants of history say to each other? Is it lost to history, or are there ideas of what was said?
Hannibal died about 80 yrs. before Caesar was born..
The Roman general you might be thinking of is : Africanus Scipio. He's the one that defeated Hannibal at the Battle of Zama.
Yes, I read link below, Hannibal meet Scipio on the plains between Carthage and Utica on Oct. 19th,202 b.c., at the Battle of Zama, no mention of what was said.
