How is the winner of a Formula 1 race determined if both cars cross the line at the same time?
Even though its highly unlikely...
highly? more like next to impossible!
The regulatioons state:
If in the unlikely event two cars cross the start finish line on the last lap at precisely the same time (to 1 billionth of a second) then full points for the position in dispute is to be given to both drivers and if needed another trophy of the position in dispute is to be made and the podium is shared.

In Australia we don’t mention Victoria Cross winners, we’d rather let them live in peace. If they need to be mentioned then we let others do it, such as the media or politicians who want to show off by using their names, but as individuals we rarely utter their names without permission as a mark of respect.
