MOVIE: The Patriot ... Im doing a project on this movie and need to know a few things such as:?
1.How would you describe the geography of Charlestown?
2.Who is the general of the british and what are the soldiers nicknames?
3.Why does B.Martin begin fighting in the war? describe the diff b/n his battle strategies and those of the American army.
4.Which country comes to the aid of the Americans and why?
5. How would you describe the way the British lived in the colonies compared to the Americans?
6.Why did African-Americans want to fight in this war?
1) I dunno, it appears to be reasonably sized for the time, and, like most towns, literally has a main street where most thing were located.
2) General Cornwallis was the British leader. I don't know any nicks names, sorry.
3) Was B. Martin the main character? I can't remember but if he was, then he started fighting because he wanted revenge for the murder of his son by a British officer. The British used the same strategy they had always used- line up in rows in an opn field and fire. The colonials (America hadn;t ofically come into being yet) capitalized on this by doing things like hiding in corn fields or buildings, and ambushing the Brits. They took out officers first, because it wreaks havoc on the chain of command witin the British army. Soldiers without a leader are more likely to flee. After the ambush, they would run away rather than fight and risk casualities.
4) The French helped out the colonials wuite a bit because they had been defeated by the Birtish shortly before and were looking for an excuse to go at it with them again.

6) In the movie, blacks were promised their freedom after 6 months of service. The British made similar offers.

which memory brand?
which memory brand should i get for my laptop fujitsu n5010?
k-byte, patriot, kingston, corsair, or muskin?
and is it ok to mix that with another brand of memory with just the diff of brand and size? same speed everything just micron technology and 256mb.
and also i noticed that my laptop says i can put pc2700 ddr333 in there which the freq is 133 or 166 and its running on 166 2.5-3-3-7 right now... well my laptop says on cpuid that its 200 fsb and 800 bus speed...so shouldnt i be able to put a pc3200 ddr400? cause wouldnt that read 200mhz for the freq on cpuid?
