Egyptian Campaign

A comparison of religious rights in Egypt and France...Anyone find this interesting?
Egypt - Emigration decreased Christian population from 15% in 1960 to about 6% today (figure may be higher because the Egyptian government has been accused of underrepresenting Christians).
France - Births and immigration skyrocketed the Muslim population from 2% in 1990 to 7% in 2006 (may be as high as 10%; only 40,000 of France's 4 million Muslims are converts).
-----
Egypt - Constitutionally, Islam is the official religion, since 1971.
France - Secular democracy, no official religion.
-----
Egypt - Muslim converts to Christianity not recognized, may be imprisoned for disturbing public unity.
France - Anyone can convert to Islam at any time.
-----
Egypt - Preaching Christianity is illegal and punishable by law.
France - Huge Islamic media campaigns.
-----
Egypt - Only Judaism, Christianity, and Islam recognized on identity papers.
France - No religion is officially given preference over another. Many French are against religious profiling.
Duh....
it should be a comparison between "rights" in general. religious rights are just a part of the human rights. that is obviously way better in France than in Egypt

Let's Play Napoleon Total War (Egyptian Campaign) - Part 1
Do u agree or disagree?
This is a call to participate in a public campaign aiming to put pressure on the British Government to get the Western Sahara in Egypt cleared of mines planted by the British Army during its occupation of Egypt. And to assume and accept the legal and moral responsibility for the suffering borne by the Egyptian people because of the presence of these mines on their land.
A group of Egyptians who truly care about their country drafted a letter to British Prime Minister in his capacity, and invite you all to sign it at the following link:
http://www.PetitionOnline.com/egypt30/petition.html
I think we need to learn from the jews when dealing with this issue.
This is what I expect the Jews to do
After a big propaganda compaign,
They would have been forced to give a big compensation for every single casualty for the mines since they were planted and take charge of all their treatment, rehabilitation of the wounded and support them for a living till the end of their life.
Another compensation for the economic loss Egypt has been suffering because of our inablility to use the north western lands for all that period plus the interest of that money for all that period till the day of removal of the last mine.
Make them remove all the mines or make them have to pay all the cost of removing them along with providing the facilities to do it (maps and equipments)
They should pay a compensation for the progress that would have taken place in Egypt if we were able to get use from all that over that time and they should open the british universities for our selected Egyptian students so that they can education and training plus facilitate the procedures for Egyptian Professionals to have the permission to go to the UK and permission to work there to give the experience and trianing to help them to get Egypt ahead and catch up over the deficit they caused by the mines.
they should also help Egypt get back on track by helping Egypt developing and upgrading its industry through agreements to be arranged ahead to catch up over the same deficit caused by the mines
The Queen should also apologize for the physical and psychological pain they cause for Egypt and Egyptians all that time.
: )
Nah I'm not J000ish, but Its always good to learn from them ![]()
