anyone who has had a total or partial hysterectomy?
I will be having either a total or partial hysterectomy in a few weeks, my uterus is for lack of a better explanation...falling out. It is sitting on my bladder which is then affecting my bowels. I've had horrible pain for almost a year, had a laparoscopy done 2 days ago, and this was the outcome. I wanted to hear how hysterectomys affected women after having them.
I had a partial and six months later the full hysterectomy. Immediately you will be given large doses of hormones to help with the shock your body will be going through. You may suffer from extreme depression, too, but it doesn't happen to everyone. I am so glad I had one.

Partial Clearing and a Few Rays of Sun
For a few days now I've had this partial numbness in my left thigh.I'm quite worried what could be causing it?
You need to be checking with your doctor. You may only have a pinched nerve in your thigh, or you may have a more serious problem. One of my friends husbands was having a numbness in his thigh, and when he realized it was getting more and more widespread; he finally went to the doctors. He had a blood clot, which can be very dangerous. He had to be out of work for several weeks, he is a truck-driver; and had to be on cumiden. This is a blood pressure medication and blood thinner. He is only in his thirties, so this type of thing can happen at any age. He also had to revamp his diet because of it and he was a big meal, meat and potatoes and gravy and dessert type of guy. Definitely get checked out by a doctor even if it is just a pinched nerve, you are better off to find out what is going on. Good luck to you!

I was circumcised at 21 and did not lose sensation . So guys that are not circumcised how would they know if they would lose sensation if circumcised and circumcised at birth would not know what it is like to be not circumcised. As for your glans getting dry, it does but you can put lotion on it. But when I was not circumcised I would get lots of tiny tears at the end of my foreskin that would get irritated and burn especially after sex or masturbation. So I am not sure if one is better than the other, but there are differences and I like mine circumcised.
I had a lower brain stroke late '05, nearly killed me. I was never a druggy and I always kept in physical shape and the vitamin thing. I smoked in my younger days like a rasta but I am sure that had no bearing no my illness, it was some genetic weakness. Some are doing things out there that will get you sooner or later, it is not worth it. Get addicted to your music and guitar not some death roll of the dice. Shit happens sometimes, no need to play Russian Roulet. My long habits of working out saved my life, no doubt, had I been in avg shape or weak it would have taken me out.
I was lucky and retained my IQ and muscial connection and touch. I cannot remember songs anymore but since I always taught myself to develop my sense of music creation theory and improvisation ability. I am able to play new music everytime I play, I cannot remember just a few partial riffs from songs I used to know and something new I forget if I do not keep it freash in my mind. The guitar was an essential and recommended therapy from my neurologist to help my brain recover. I really think my many years of brain hand connection from music helped my brain reset and function again. I am lucky I had my gear aquired from so many years of tone addiction, I just love playing and it has become an essential part of my life and will to live. I would not know what to do if I did not have my last guitar I bought before I got sick, sure could not buy anything these days.
Take care of yourself, it may save your life someday. AND you play better when you feel better. The tendon conditioning and muscle tone really makes you a better player with more energy and the engine of creation is there to help you invent music.
