Does the United States have the capabilities of fighting a war with Iran? a unified terrorist country?

Iran supports every terrorist network who opposes the West or as they call us "Crusaders". . . We are in Afghanistan and Iraq, and does anyone think we could manage war on three fronts? The only benefits I see to attacking Iran are shutting down their Nuclear Reactors and Facilities being built, but what would a third war in the middle east do to the globe? Would the United States have to reinstate the Draft? Irans closest allies are Syria, Lybia, and all terrorists who oppose America. We are kinda stuck with the Taliban and rebels in Iraq, HOW on earth can we fight a unified terrorist Country, which posessed jets, a navy, a fairly large army, Tanks, and special ops? Sure we could smoke all those out, but theres still the problem with fighting those, when we are having a hard enough time with the rebels that dont have those.... and do you think NATO would support us? Idk im just wondering what everybody thinks?

If we were to attack Iran the terrorist groups residing within its borders do not have jets, a navy, and tanks. The Iranian military has all of these weapons. If a war was waged on Iran it would be fought through the air first. Every war from WW2 and on has shown the power behind the airstrike. You can have an army of 20,000 tanks, but if you don't have anything to defend them against airstrikes what good are they.

USA pilots are some of the best in the world flying the best planes in the world. They would eliminate most of Iran's ground forces before USA ground forces arrived.

As for Irans allies, it all depends what started the war as to who would jump in. If Iran attacked first, I feel very few nations would jump to her aid knowing what would happen. Syria, Jordan, and several other nations in the middle east do not have the military to stand up to the USA. Terriorists don't either. Sure there are millions of terrorists, but unless you can get to our military bases or attack the USA civilian population they are no threat in Nation v. Nation war.

Russia and China have are "friends" of Iran, but they do not have a military alliance. They may have a if you are attacked we'll help you, but it doesn't read if you decide to attack first we'll back you up.

The nations of NATO would help if the USA was attacked first, say Iran decided to attack one of our carrier groups in the Persian Gulf. If the USA was to issue a formal declaration of war several of our allies would help. That is why you have them. If the USA was to attack first then it would be iffy as to who would help.
