What was the ridge social class system for the Dutch?

In the Philippines, sugar is one of the many agricultural products that can be grown bountifully given our tropical climate.
During the Spanish times, sugar was grown primarily for trade - the Manila - Acapulco Galleon Trade.

Foreign Languages: Army Special Forces?
Is foreign languages a requirement, or like a request,to join the Special Forces? Will French be of any use? Will Chinese Mandarin be of any use?
You don't have to know any other language other than english. However, after selection and clt, they have rearranged the course putting you in an I-ODA and then you will have language first. I had french and yes, it has a use as most countries in Africa speak french. It is necessary that you pass. Chinese is really difficult and a lot of my buddies had a really hard time. The language training is done at Ft. Bragg. You will not have to go to another state. The language that you recieve is based apon you D-LAB score, the lower the score the easier the language. This test is taken before you start selection (so if you haven't gone yet don't worry they will set you up). If your test score is high they will probably give you the choice of language (i.e. russian, arabic, farsi, etc.) Also, group is mostly language dependent, meaning if you have chinese or an asian lang. you will most likely end up at 1st, likewise if you have spanish you will probably end up in 7th. I hope this answers your question. Good Luck to you.

This is the 225th anniversary of the Franco-American victory at Yorktown. The French Defense Minister, Alliot-marie, will be attending the commemoration on October 19th.
Funny, no news about it in the MSM, or you might say thundering silence. Where is the rightwing press, 0'Reilly, Hannity, et al? Do you think they will mention it on the 10th, and the following detail?
“Did You Know?
The 9,000 American forces were in the minority during the Yorktown Campaign. The French army and navy combined for over 25,000 men, while the British army and navy participants numbered over 21,000.”

– Milo Erik Thatcher {10/10}
It's a handsome name that would age well, but it's still really cute too. Eric is one of my favourite names, and I also love this spelling of it. Thatcher reminds me of a crazy political leader, Marageret Thatcher, that we once had in this country. But apart from that, it's a nice name. Overall – stunning!
Seriously, this is gorgeous! I've loved Milo ever since I started watching Heroes. Milo Ventimiglia is so gorgeous
– Remy Oliver James {7/10}
It's nice to se Remy on a boy, where it belongs. I see it all too often for girls nowadays. I personally always see Remy as being too short to be a name on it's own. I'd much rather see Jeremy, Jeremiah, Ephrem, Heremon, Hieremias, Remington or Remko with Remy as the nickname. Oliver's a good strong name, as is James, but I've never been particularly keen on either. They're okay, though. Overall, this is a good combo, but I prefer the other one.
RT Retweet is now an official word according to the Oxford English Dictionary … I thought the French Army had been using it for years
