what are some ideas for homemade toys for one month old german shepards?
Our german sheperd had puppys about a month ago... She is neglecting them now so we are feeding them and playing with them. they like chasing things and we dont want to buy anything so what are some simple toys for one month old puppies? (that we can make not buy)
First, learn to pay attention to YA's always-on spell-checker. It drew red lines under "german", "shepards", "sheperd", "puppys" and "dont" to tell you that there is no such word. If you had let it, it would have told you some likely real words to choose from in each case.
At this age, all that pups need to play with is one another plus an interesting yard in which to carry sticks around ("Catch Me If You Can" is a real puppy favourite!).
But if their dam is totally ignoring them, you will need to supervise so that no puppy gets away with being a constant bully.
Educating them to NOT bite ankles & fingers, to NOT leap into the air & grab a mouthful of clothing on the way down, is another task you must put time into.
They are unlikely to be too interested in playing with humans before 5-6 weeks old - at present they will be regarding humans as food-suppliers.
DO NOT follow the shockingly ignorant 'advice' to
"take a styrofoam ball and cut out a peice of felt and glue it on the ball."
The styrofoam is a BAD danger, even before gluing anything to it. Nor do you leave small balls around that pups can demolish and choke on bits of.
(And I'd love to see how she can "put knots on the end" of a 6 inch length of "a big rope"!)
Certainly test them individually at about 6 weeks old on their interest in (1) chasing a roll-bouncing golf-ball and (2) bringing it to you so you can toss it again. Pups without interest #1 will be useless in most kinds of training competition, and those without interest #2 will be mighty hard to train at all.
Out in the yard, balls of various sizes, and frayed knotted ropes (at least 60cm/2ft long, preferably longer) are GREAT "prey-chase" toys - WHILE YOU ARE THERE. But take them away when you leave.
If you have a single jandal (Japanese-style thong-sandal) left, or a slipper that has developed holes, that will give pups fun to "fight" with - a pup chomped onto a broken jandal strap usually loves to "rat-shake" it so that the sole slaps him/her on alternate flanks.
An old sock is a great learning tool - they have to learn how to trot without tripping on it. (A trip gives a sibling a chance to grab it and steal it away.)
By 6 weeks they will be old enough to spend ages working on a knobbly gnaw-bone - such as part of an ox-tail or lamb-spine - but always UNCOOKED.
I hope you are feeding them 4-5 times a day, at 5-7 hour intervals (except when you are asleep).

In German, how do you use the verb "to feel" when describing one's attitude?
I looked it up in a German-English dictionary and there are several verbs for "to feel" and I'm wondering, can i use one of those verbs? I don't want to use it for it's literal meaning :]
It depends on where your feeling about a certain situation comes from.
If it is connected to thought and your opinion is a result of thinking over something you'd say: "Ich denke" (=I think) or "meiner Meinung nach" (=in my opinion)
if your attitude is based on intuition and feeling, you'd use: "Meinem Empfinden nach" (= according to my feelings) or "Ich habe den Eindruck, dass (=I've got the impression, that...) or "Meine Intuition sagt mir, dass.." (=my intuition tells me, that..) or "ich glaube" (=I believe) or "ich finde" (=I find)
