Which Greek god created the sun? If Apollo was the sun god who created the sun?
Gaia just gave birth to Apollo. She did not make the sun, moon, sky, seas, and the list goes on. Then who made it please explain. Thank you really appreciate it.
Homer associates the sun (=Helios) with the titan Hyperion. Other sources say that Helios was son of Hyperion and his sister Theia or Evryfateia. So he was a grandson of Uranus and Gaia. Apollo comes later as the sun of light better, than the sun (ok it's kind of the same). He is in the next "generation" of gods.

Sun of God?
Will you be celebrating the birth of God's Sun on 25th December?
On the 21st December, which is the Winter Solstice, God's Sun will die.
It will spend the next three days at it's lowest point in the sky.
The the three kings, Mintaka, Alnilam and Alnitak will, as always, look towards Sirius, the brightest star in the sky. On 25th December, Sirius marks the exact place on the horizon where God's Sun will be born, as it starts its annual journey across the horizon through the equinoxes and solstices.
People in the northern hemisphere have been celebrating this event for thousands upon thousands of years.
I celebrate the fact that Christ came to this earth to die for us every day of my life. I don't wait for certain days to do that. -----
