Selling off our gold reserves was just one of many ill advised decisions by this God awful Government. The flood of child benefit to children resident in Poland and other EU countries and the millions £'s that flood out in foreign aid also don't help.

Oh please, people, a government never goes to war over human rights issues, though a government will use human rights to rally people behind its war effort. That’s what we’re seeing now. “We’re fighting to liberate the women of Afghanistan.” etc. etc. Never mind that war never does a blasted thing women anywhere.
