guys tell me what u think of this?
I looked out the window grimly. It had been raining for like an hour and it didn’t seem like it would stop. Rain drops clattered against our house like a hail of machine gun fire, the roof our saviour at the right moment. I heaved myself off the bed and lumbered towards the desk. A key lay on top of the desk, feeling cold and colourless amidst the rain’s wrath. Slowly, I pushed the key into the drawer, hearing it click into place, and then rotating my wrist like a spanner, sinewy muscles weaving and wrapping themselves around each other to unlock the drawer. Inside laid a photo of a young group of students, no older than ten, smiling and laughing together. Yet I still couldn’t identify who these young lads were. I scanned my eyes over the whole photo, looking for any minute detail that would unravel the mystery. In the bottom appeared a message in bold, cursive writing, sending me into a hypnotic trance and awakening my glorious childhood memories of the past…
this is really good, and your description is amazing! u left me wanting to read more which is great. the only thing i can suggest is to use more sentence variety in the beginnning, because they were all like the same length. other than that, it was amazing!
