Hood Damaged
Im practicing reclearing my damaged CF hood. When i spray it it dries rough not smooth?
Am I not laying enough down...or going to fast..not putting enough coats on it?
yes im new to this so i dont feel stupid asking.
am I supposed to polish this with something like turtle wax ICE polish?
im spraying about 7-10 inches away from the hood?
anyone recommend any good clear?
ill even rattlecan it because I can just take it off and try again since this is a damaged hood intended for practice
You need to do a wet sand between coats.

HMS Hood Return Of The Ghost From The Denmark Strait
The hood of my 2000 mazda opened while driving and I hit a snowbank. Can I call my insurance company?
Now my passanger windshield wiper doesn't work the hood is badly damaged and the headlight is broken. My guess is that the gas bar attendant who put windshield wiper fluid in my car did not properly close the hood. Will calling my insurance company benefit me? If the insurance does not cover this wil the report still cause my premiums to go up? Any suggestions would please be helpful. Please note I do not have a receipt from the gas bar. Please help
You can call your insurance but your rates will go up and you probably have at least a 500 deductable, so I would just get it fixed without dealing with the insurance.
