Born in North Khartoum, Omar al-Bashir in 1944 .Graduated from the Sudanese military academy in 1967, then won MSc military commanders and Staff College in 1981, and Master of Military Sciences Malaysia 1983, the Academy Fellowship of Administrative Sciences in 1987.

Omar al- Bashir was born in North Khartoum in 1944. He graduated from the Sudanese military academy in 1967, which led him to win the MSC military commanders and Staff College in 1981. He aslo led the west in 2967 until 1969, then moved on to lead airborned troops until 1987. He also won theMaster of Military Sciences Malaysia 1983, and the Academy Fellowship of Administrative Sciences in 1987. During these feats, he was also appointed the commander of the Eighth Infantry Brigade from 1987 to June 1989. After this, he continued to assume the post of President of the Council of National Salvation Revolution Command. This began on July 2st, 1989 and ended on October 18th, 1993. Following this, he was elected the President of the Republic, which, in accordance with the constitution, combined offices and the post of the Prime Minister.
