Britneyism: A new religion?
ok, has anyone heard about this new religion called Britneyism?
It is the the worship of Britney Spears not only as the Queen of Pop...that I haven't a problem with, but there are people now who believe she is God.
I've seen blogs going up about it and some forums containing talk about Britneyism.
These people actually believe she is God. They do not call her a Goddess - they call her God.
Small groups calling themselves "Britneyists" get together sometimes online or even in person and kneel infront of their...Britney posters and start chanting her name and literally...PRAYING to her as if she can hear and answer prayers. And they be that she can and does.

I was talking with a friend about it the other day and she heard about Britneyism too. Is this way over the top?
They also look at her in a sexual way...doing the deed using her pictures and call it "giving the gift of seed to the Queen."
What is going on with this Britneyism stuff??? Thoughts?

Do you really think Jesus was the wuss people always talk about?
He sweat blood in the garden of Gethsemane while his feeble underlings slept. He took a merciless beating at the hands of the Romans. He was nailed to a cross and stabbed with a spear.
But did that phase him! Hah! He laughs at such pitiful attempts on his life. (Well, maybe not laughs - there is no sign in the Bible God has any sense of humor - but you get my meaning.)
He is immortal! Almighty! His sword is terrible and swift! He makes wine out of the grapes of wrath! It's all in the Bible.
Kneel before Him - The Almighty! Lord of Lords! If you fail to do so, you will burn for eternity in the lake of fire with all those heathen kids from places where they can't read.
I always thought he was just another failed apocalyptic who repeatedly said that his generation would live to see the coming of the kingdom of God.
