Why do the British want the American pilots prosecuted for the 2003 friendly fire incident ?
The British did not prosecute the British Soldiers involved in the friendly fire death of Sergeant Steven Roberts, 2nd Royal Tank Regiment 24 March 2003 or the friendly fire deaths of Cpl Stephen Allbutt and Trooper David Clarke Queen's Royal Lancers, March 25, 2003.
So why the double standard ?
Because the British are Europeans and Europeans have an inferiority complex because they suck and America is great.

Maintenence -wise, who knows a lot about Mazda Miata's, preferably older models?
I have a 1990 Miata, manual. A fricken' trooper. She's got just over 260,000 miles on her with no major work done. It has a problem in the cold mornings of always grinding between the high gears for the first 5-10 min, afterwards which it stops. She also has another problem: Sputtering and putting. Mainly in 1st and 2nd gear. She's not as fast as she used to be overall, and besides the understandable "She's old, let her go." answer(which I plan on doing soon anyway), what other suggestions are there? I did just recently put some oil in. I want to try and give her some of her life back, before she goes under...
PS. Yeah yeah, I know Miata's are referred to as 'girly' cars, but I needed a car, and I got it for free. Plus, that's the main reason I'm getting rid of it. I want to get an Impreza or Lancer personally...
I own an early 1991 miata the COld mornings are a problem for this car all the way up to 1995 so that's not an issue it has to do with the way the car was assembled , the sputtering is aminly due to regular wear and tear think about how we move with age there are a few additives in the market that will coat the cilinder walls and restore compresion just make sure that when you add it you do not overfill the engine however this will be like a temporary fix 260k miles is 60k more than the negine was rated for.
BTW miats fixed properly can be fun cars mine is set for drifting and it pumps about 225 hp with very a moderate expense. In my opinion if you can afford the WRX STI go for it you will not regret it The lancer looks good but it will disapoint you.
