How are people buying into Clinton as an agent of change when all we've had is Clintons and Bushes since 1988?
I'm a very liberal Democrat. But essentially, should Clinton win, we'll have to hang our faith on a repeat administration. The 90's were OK, and I was down the saxaphone swinging, "other things" swinging Bill.
But I just don't see how Hillary's "change" message is working. Consider this: She only adopted the message once Obama began closing the gap as THE leading change candidate. She's just like every other politician--adapt, handshake, smile repeat.
I think the damage has been done. Sadly, the American People just aren't involved in politics beyond the scope of today's partisan media...
Whether Barack is the guy or not remains to be seen. But I can't imagine our country regaining its footing, dignity and composure under Clinton. After 20 years of the same, shouldn't we start getting more serious about change?
Most people do not follow politics that closely. Hillary has name recognition and people remember the economic dot com bubble of the 90's and attribute that economic expansion to the Clintons. This election is as much a generational battle and the sad fact is older voters have more free time and vote in larger numbers. If the younger generation voted in more proportional numbers you would see Obama ahead by significant numbers. The US does not need political dynasties it is harmful to all voters. The Clintons will continue to summer in Kennebunkport with the Bush family. Both families will continue to trickle down on America.

Alto Saxaphone Questions!?
I'm 15 and i have been playing the alto sax for 6 years. I was wondering what kind of mouthpiece would be best to buy to use in Jazz Band and Concert (I'm lead player if it matters)? Also, i want to improve my solos in jazz band so what is the best way to learn and practice the altissimo notes? Any tips are appreciated...
For mouthpieces, get a high baffle one for the jazz band. Brands like Runyon, Berg Larsen, Dukoff etc are good choices. I am using a Runyon Quantum for both big band and fusion band. For the concert band just stick to the good old Selmer C* and you will be fine.
Technique wise, get the "Top tones for the saxophone" book by Sigurd Rascher for altissimo practice; and Jamey Abersold play along books for jazz improvization.
