Marine Drum
College/Universities in New York State.?
So, My husband is in the army, getting posted at Ft. Drum. We wont move til January, but I'd like to get a head start on finding a school to go to! Im nineteen and in the air force reserves with no prior university schooling. I'd like to study marine biology or oceanography.. hopefully I can do this up there...I rather something near the post..but no community colleges...
I want to get an idea of what's available..but I will def. see the education office right away..hopefully if a school is kinda far, I can persuade my husband to live off base half way between.

my BIL is at drum (currently in Afghanistan) - my sister is doing school online - a maryland school - they offer discounts for military families. as far as a school nearby - good luck! there are some community colleges - the biggest univers./colleges i can think of is SUNY Pottsdam, or Clarkson U. - bit of a drive though...good luck...it's a nice area there...just spoke with my sister - it's snowing there today....yup...your moving to a snow belt!
