Military Green Army
Green Beret, Army Ranger, Marine Recon, Air Force Spec. Ops. or Navy SEALs?
Take your pick, which is the most elite warrior? Based on versatility, best training, and overall badass. If you were a POW and the Military sent in one of these elite groups to save your ass, which would you want to come to your rescue? Ok, picture this.
YOU are a POW. You've been tortured, you've been starved, you probably need medical attention, you're probably a little tired of being held captive, right?
Now somebody breaks the door to your cell down and says, "We're here to rescue you." Are you going to ask, "Um... which branch of the service are you from?" Are you REALLY going to care? Are you really going to tell them, "Oh, it's ok guys. I'm waiting to be rescued by the [whatever unit]." Thousands of prisoners were rescued from German concentration camps by the regular Army. Guess you'd have waited 10 years for the Green Beret, or 20 years for the SEALs, or 50 years for the PJs, or 60 years for Force Recon to come and get you?
Can you see how brilliant this question is?
And those who actually picked one or the other... I can't believe anybody who's ever served in combat... or even in the military... would really be that foolish.
ADDENDUM:
I'm reminded of a story. The waters were rising. One devoutly religious man started to pray. "God," he said, "Please rescue from this flood." There was a knock at the door. A Deputy Sheriff said, "Sir, the waters are rising. If the dam breaks, this whole area will be under water. I have a 4-wheel drive Jeep out in front. I'll give you a few minutes to gather anything of value, but we have to get out of here." The man replied, "Thank you kindly, Deputy, but I'm relying on God to save me."
The waters rose and the man was forced into the second story of his house. He continued to pray. "Heavenly Father, please save me from this flood." Suddenly there was a knock at the window. It was a man in a boat who said, "Sir, you're lucky I happened by and saw you. It looks like the dam's going to go. You'd better come with me." Our protagonist replied, "Thank you sir. But I'm relying on God to save me."
The waters rose still higher. The man was forced to climb onto his roof as the house was now filled with water. "Dear God," he prayed, "Please rescue me from this flood." All at once a helicopter hovered overhead. A loudspeaker announced, "This is the Coast Guard. The dam is going to give way and this house will be destroyed. Climb into the basket and we'll haul you up and take you to safety." The man on the roof waved them off. "Thank you," he shouted, "but I'm relying on God to save me."
The dam gave way and the house was destroyed, and the man was killed.
So he's at the Pearly Gates and who does he see but God himself. "Heavenly Father," he asks, "I prayed and prayed for you to save me. Am I being punished for something?" God says, "My child, I sent you a 4-wheel drive Jeep, a motor boat and a helicopter. What more did you want?"

Now I've seen it all...the Army is 'crossing into the blue'...LOL. What do you think?
Looks like the new dress uniform for the Army is blue instead of green. I liked how the Air Force dropped their desire for the blue tiger stripe camo uniform and went with something closer to 'real' camo colors, but why get rid of the green for the Army dress uniform?

Historically, the Army Uniform was always blue.
IE: it was blue, longer than it was green.
The Army's Enlisted dress uniform, has always been blue.
They just also had class a's, because they were cheaper.
Dress Blues, are made with better material than Class A's are made out of.
So now, they will just do away with the class A's,
Use cheaper material, for the dress blues, change the cut somewhat.
And everyone will just have to maintain one uniform.
Now if they would just go back to the old calvary stripes
The Army still authorizes them,
But only for the Army band.
