Mint Package
I bought a package of dessert mints with a "best by" date of February 2010?
Do you think they're safe to eat? Normally, I'm pretty paranoid about expiration dates, and this one IS over two months ago. But it just says "best by", and they're mints, so I don't think they could grow any bad bacteria or anything, but I don't know? Should I toss them (already opened the bag, so I can't return them)?
The ingredients are sugar, cream of tartar, oil of peppermint, and some artificial colors, and they're not individually wrapped. Thanks!
They're fine to eat. The best by date means that it will have the best flavor if used by the date stamped on the food.
If it said use by I'd tell you to toss it.

How many calories are in a package of wintergreen icebreaker mints?
i know that the nutritional info states that there's 0 calories in one mint, but what if you eat it all
well if eahc one states that it 0 calories it could be under 1 like .9 or .5. and since there mints can come under a different ounce size per mint, a mint can be anywhare between .9 to .5 calories... so I would take the .9 count and times it by the amount of mints your going to eat and that would be your calorie count. Why would you eat all of them? That's gross!
