American German One

Whats the difference between European boxer, and american and German boxer?
Are they concidered a different breed? Or is it just a slightly different style? Does it matter when conformation showing one? idk im confused. Please dont post any links discribing the differences, because I read them, but they dont make sense to me.
Well, to summarize it all up they are al lthe same breed, they are simply boxers. The main difference between a German Line and a NA as already stated is their build. If you look online search something like "european line boxer" or something, even in the images, what you usally get is a very muscular, looking boxer. With a slightly bigger, more "squashed" head. German line boxers are more concentrated like nekkid said as being workers, so they tend to be a little bigger boned. Their stance is also slightly different. NA lines, although still stocky have a bit more of an elongated face, and not as "bulky" if i may. They look a little more lankier, for NA line boxers are breed more for show rather then working dogs. So typically the noticable difference is a slight variation in looks, but non the less its a boxer!

| | The German Influence on Australian and American English $28.51 Seminar paper from the year 2008 in the subject Speech Science / Linguistics, printed singlesided, grade: 2,0, University of Constance, 8 entries in the bibliography, language: English, abstract: ...]The aim of this work will be, on the one hand, to describe the history of Germansettlement on both continents, and more importantly of the influence of German onAmerican English as well as on Australian English. On the other hand, a directcomparison between the German influences will be made, and hopefully it will provethat even though half the globe separates both continents from each other, there aresimilarities to be found. It is to be expected though, that if there are analogies, theywill be regionally restricted, since both in the United States and in Australia, contactsituations seem to be restricted to those areas where Germans settled from theearliest days on.Beside the clarification of some general definitions, which will prove necessary for anunderstandable analysis, the difficulties in researching this topic will be made evident. One thing that will not be considered in this examination is the influence of YiddishGerman on American English since, one the one hand, it proves hard to differentiateexactly between the German and the Yiddish aspects and on the other hand becausethe Jewish impact on Australian English is marginal. Therefore YiddishGerman israther unimportant in the comparison of both varieties. ...] Author: Braasch, LarsBenja Binding Type: Paperback Number of Pages: 56 Publication Date: 2009/04/15 Language: English Dimensions: 8.27 x 5.83 x 0.13 inches |

Ask any guitarist what they want most from an amp and they’ll answer with a single word — TONE. That quest for tone drove us to develop our family of VIRTUBE amplifiers. Our proprietary VTC (Virtual Tube Circuitry) gives these amazing amps their in-your-face tube-amp tone. Amps with such rich, harmonic character and buttery tube-like goodness, you’ll wonder where we hid the tubes. The Virtube VT15FX has split personalities: one that features dulcet-clean output, and one that drives your tone with an aggressive punch that only tubes, or our VTC modeling, can generate. So when the time comes, you’ll be ready for everything from mellow blues to metal mayhem. Revolutionary VTC Technology The secret behind the Virtube VT15FX's incredible sound is our VTC Tube Modeling processor, which exudes the very essence of tube saturation and compression. But VTC does so much more than just generate a cheap copy of a specific amp character. It accurately emulates the interaction between classic tube stages, responding to the subtle tonal changes that occur when one stage hands the signal off the next. The resulting signal is rich in harmonic content and far more true to the nature of tube amps. Two-Channel Operation Virtube VT15FX's Clean channel is elegant in its simplicity. The sound is open and uncolored and can be tailored to your needs by Volume and the analog passive equalizer. The Overdrive channel features Gain, Volume, Bass, Treble and our proprietary Contour control, with its radical midrange sweep. All this versatility enables you to artfully define your “perfect tone, from traditional to scooped modern and anything in-between. Digital FX The Virtube VT15FX also comes with state-of-the-art effects — and not some cheap-and-cheesy reverb chip, but a full-blown 24-bit digital effects processor with 16 great-sounding reverbs, choruses, flangers and delays. It offers a full, warm tone combined with medium attack. (Except metal snare drum) Precise Bearing Edges A drum's bearing edge is one of the most important components in drum sound. Tama’s advanced edge-cutting process provides extremely precise bearing edges - which allow their shells to ring openly and fully, and provide a wide range of tune ability, sensitivity and response. 100% Glued Finishes Some drum companies only affix their wraps to the drum shell by taping the finish at 'selected contact points'. At Tama, all of the wrapped finishes are glued to the shell 100% to eliminate warping, buzzing or lifting. This process allows the shell to resonate fully and consistently. It's more work, but it's worth it. A difference you can see and hear! The heavier weights and larger bells of these new cymbals offer brighter sounds, higher pitch and more cut than their predecessors. Check out the 20 inch ride cymbal’s bell, which has absolutely amazing cut! The hammer marks and brilliant finish provide an appearance that is as impressive and professional as the sound. Small Lugs Imperial star lugs are 10% smaller than the lugs of our previous Swingstar Series for even greater shell resonance. An American Werewolf in Paris - Part 1 (German)
This one is for german-americans only please?
My husband is german (heritage) and LOVES eggs on top of many foods, like steak, pork, roast beef, hamburger, corn-beef hash, sauerkraut...Is this a common german "thing"? Only first hand experience only please, yourself or friends not rumours, thank you.
Nope, not at all. There are a couple of dishes where it is "traditional", but not on steak or pork or roast beef or hamburger... brrrr.....
Two traditional dishes where an egg on top is really traditional are
1.: Labskaus, a traditional dish from Hamburg, made with cabbage and fish and beets and stuff. I have never had it.
2.: Fried "Leberkäs". Normally, you eat "Leberkäs" cut in slices from a loaf that was baked in the oven, but if something of that is left over, usually one fries the slices in a pan, and usually if you get it like that, you get a fried egg on top, too.
But those really are the only two dishes I can think of, where a fried egg is on top. Never heard of anything else, nor seen anything else.
Now, with egg baked into it, that is something different. "Falscher Hase", a kind of meat loaf, is made with whole, cooked eggs baked in. But like I said: fried eggs on top is not common. Or not like what your husband eats it with, anyway.

Hi Newbster,
Your first consideration should be to go see a doctor and tell him/her about your depression. Medical problems can be sorted. There is absolutely no shame to admitting to being depressed.
Homesickness is a bummer; Ive had that experience too.
Now here's a question: If there was a college near your home, would you still have all the misgivings that you have mentioned in your letter above or would you just be reconciled to doing all the work/studies you currently do?
Depending on how you answer this question may provide you with a clearer vision about which course of action you could take.
I think you underestimate your family and I doubt that they would see you as 'the sad one'.
My advice would be that you send a copy of your letter above to your parents so that they may understand the extent of your situation and without delay, you could also go see a doctor before your depression becomes unbearable.
Please don't be concerned about how they might feel about you, that is not the issue here.
You deserve to be happy and fulfilled.
