Artillery Gun Battery

751st Anti-Aircraft Artillery Gun Battalion (WW II - Pacific)?
I'm working on a personal history project and am looking for detailed info on this US Army unit. Specifically, I would like to know what D Battery did from Nov, 1942 to Oct, 1945. If there any veterans from this unit, please email me.
Thanks in advance

BOB "Day of Days" - German artillery battery
what is a 6 by 6 artillery barrage?
-- a long time ago I read a book about a soldier in a long range reconnaissance patrol.- in vietnam - well at night time they were over run by the enemy and they called for a 6 by 6 artillery barrage on their own position --- I don't know but I would guess that an artillery battery with 6 guns fired 6 rounds each for a total of 36 shells in a square pattern on the coordinates they called in -- but I don't know -- I read the book years ago and I always wondered what happened-- When they called for a 6 by 6 artillery barrage would anyone know what they got?
6 artillery pieces shooting 6 rounds is correct, I was in Recon.

This is a smart blog. I mean it. You have so much knowledge about this issue, and so much passion. You also know how to make people rally behind it, obviously from the responses. Youve got a design here thats not too flashy, but makes a statement as bigas what youre saying. Great job, indeedbooster cable |glue gun|battery clip |hot glue gun
Bharat Earth Movers Develops 155mm, 52 caliber Artillery Gun; Field Trials Begin: Bharat Earth Movers Ltd. (BEML) …
Thanks, Pommers – yes it was just in time. They flew back this afternoon. By the way, if you've never been to the old gun battery emplacements (original Vickers 380mm/17metre long made in 1926) at Cabo Tinoso between Mazarron and Cartagena I would very much recommend. Spectacular views and a precipitous narrow road drive up to the top. Well worth it, but like many of the splendid and more remote sights over here, not well publicised or signposted.
