We pay the jocks millions, why don't we pay our fighting men top dollar?

The so called role models get bad and spoil, but are in no danger of getting blown up on the field. a well trained soldier that gains efficiency should receive tax free above average wages. They pay mercenaries and the soldiers-of-soldiers 100K or more while some military families suffer poverty or are in deep debt just trying to keep up with social demands made upon their school age kids like class photo's, certain gym and uniform costs,all sorts of allowed sale pitches from rings to book covers. We the people need to be aware of our national dangers, and build a great standing army and strong navy, without going to the draft. We are under attack right now and need to make the military life more attractive and rewarding for serious minded people willing to work for life's achievement. Open the services to all ages also. Just think of the out of work, unskilled, and under-educated we now have that are headed nowhere, that can be saved and made use-full.

First let me say before you, that Jack of all trades is in over his 'jock' watching head. He missed the whole point, of course we do not pay our men to watch them die at the hand of our enemies, how foolish is that statement? The great national pride we would have in the greatest armed forces ever, would ensure our survival. Along with the well cared for and well compensated honor we should also carry the banner of God. To some degree our flag, "OLD GLORY" honors our God, through which it was founded in spite of our detractors both foreign and domestic. The problem is that not all of our leaders and citizens hearts are not committed to one nation under God.
