I am 32 and never asked out.. how do I find out if I am hard to appraoach?
What are the signs of being hard-to-aproach?
I am friendly, I joke a lot. I never try to make people uncomfortable. I can easily talk to just any one. My close girlfriend says that guys feel I am un-approachable.
I cannot just talk to any guy! Example a weird looking colleague found out my number from officce records and called me one afternoon to gossip. I told the authorities to secure the catalog and that they should not pick on the guy.
I cannot be slutty! I am relaxed. btw that weirdo was the only one who dared to call me.

Hhmmm.... You have said a lot of stuff here that makes you unapproachable in my mind.
" a weird looking colleague". Ok, he may not be attractive to you, but did you need to point it out?
"I told the authorities..." He may have liked you and wanted your number to call you to maybe ask you out. What he got was a threat of legal action and the possibility of losing his job just because he was a little "weird looking" for you?! Great ice breaker for the two of you.
Once that little gem got out I am sure there were LOADS of guys lining up to talk to you so they too can wonder if you find them weird looking and will file a sexual harassment suit against them.
How about starting by apologizing to the guy and just say that you got a little freaked but it wasn't personal.
Follow that with keeping your opinions about peoples looks to yourself. If you aren't attracted then a simple "thanks but no thanks" is acceptable as opposed to "Hello, is this 911?..."
Finally, I would evaluate what part of your personality is responsible for the "the only one who dared call me" comment. Then have a good sit down and chat with that personality over a cup of tea. you really need to evict it out of your life.
