Colonial Revolutionary War In the two decades before the outbreak of the American Revolutionary War, a profound shift?
occurred in the way many Americans thought and felt about the British government and their colonial governments.” Assess the validity of this statement in view of the political and constitutional debates of these decades.
Hello John.
It doesn't mean anything for you to ask "me" what I think about that statement or to comment on it's validity.
It is always annoying when media people begin questioning political figures like at Presidential press conferences with statements like: "In view of the political and constitutional debates of these decades...."
The way I call the shots is that a journalist is just trying to make themselves more important than the person that they are asking the question of.
Why not just go back to the basics of journalism and begin every question with: "Who, What, Where, When, Why, and How?"

High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles In a renewal of the Bourbon Family Compact, Spain entered the American Revolutionary War as an ally of France in June 1779, precipitating a parallel AngloSpanish War. Unlike France, Spain did not immediately recognize the independence of the United States, as Spain was not keen on encouraging similar colonial rebellions in the Spanish Empire. Even before its formal entry into the war, Spain had been providing weapons and other supplies to the rebels through the important port of New Orleans. Written in accessible and engaging prose, The American Revolutionary Waris a concise but comprehensive exploration into a war which affected both sides of the Atlantic, and contains all the useful features expected from a book in the Wars in Perspective series.Wars rarely turn out as expected. This book shows how Britain entered a conflict that it believed could not be lost. The American Patriots were similarly optimistic about their martial prospects. Although they eventually secured independence, it was only with the assistance of France and indirectly Spain, who diverted British resources from the conflict in America, allowing France eventually to deliver a knockout blow at Yorktown. Ironically it is America and her NATO allies that are currently involved in neo- colonial military ventures. This extensive yet accessible exploration into the War of American Independence provides aclear analysis of why this complex conflict occurred and why it ended as it did, revealing the fragile nature of the American Patriot cause. An essential guide for any history student, including those specializing in war/peace studies and the study of international relations, as well the general reader with an interest in the study of war.

Main religion in COLONIAL Connecticut AFTER Revolutionary War?
many ppl give me infor on their religion when they first arrive in the US, but i want to know their main religion in the years 1780-1785. Thanks.
Well they were all protestants of course but the denomination that most Connecticut residents were (the largest plularity) was prebysterians followed by Episcopalian (since the Anglicans in the new United States all left the Anglican Church).
