Need help with homework on the French Revolution.?

If you have the answers to any of these questions that would be very helpful please and thank you

1. Why was Louis XVI executed?
2. How did Robespierre and the Committee of Public Safety deal with opponents of the government? What was the effect of their policies?
3. How did Napoleon assume power in France and become emperor?
4. How did the French Revolution lead to war with other European nations?
5. What was the purpose of the Continental System? Did it succeed? Explain.
6. Why was the French invasion of Russia a failure?

Short answers only,but answers:
(1) It was a symbol for the determination of the revolution to symbolically abolish once and for all absolutism.
(2) By sending them to the guillotine, which led to a monstrous terror regime which finally they themselves were victimes of.The French were tired of that bloodshed.
(3) After the formation of a three-men-directorium as the government in a more stabile phase in France (about 1794/95) it was easy for him to seize power because he was an extremely successful officer, later general.
(4) You have to differentiate between the war of defense (1792)against the feudal coalition that wanted the restore of the king' role. This war was won by the revolutionaries. But later wars led the French army under Napoleon across the French borders to occupy other countries
and to "export" revolutionary ideas, such as his very progressive jurisdiction which was a blessing for Germany, for instance. But blessings pressed upon you are not felt as such.
(5) ? (Look it up)
(6) Russia is such a large country that the Russians could allow Napoleon to get even to Moscow. They burned down the town and started a guerilla war against the French, attacked smaller French troop units unexpectedly and then Marshal KUTUZOV beat Napoleon at the place of Borodino. Napoleon fled to France leaving his "Grand Army" behind.
