Silver War Lord

Silver Trumpets?
I would love to start a new DCI Drum and Bugle Corps. But I don't have the finances. Would anyone like to be my sponsor?
Num 10:2 Make thee two trumpets of silver; of a whole piece shalt thou make them: that thou mayest use them for the calling of the assembly, and for the journeying of the camps.
Num 10:9 And if ye go to war in your land against the enemy that oppresseth you, then ye shall blow an alarm with the trumpets; and ye shall be remembered before the LORD your God, and ye shall be saved from your enemies.

I like the song 'Silver Bells' maybe the corps could play that one. Thanks for the idea.
Silver Bells, Silver Bells, It's Christmas time in the season......

Sieghart's Second Job: Warlord
Can someone break down the song "fortunate son" by creedence clearwater rival, also know as "vietnam song"?
Could u break down each section for me??
1) Some folks are born made to wave the flag,
Ooh, theyre red, white and blue.
And when the band plays hail to the chief,
Ooh, they point the cannon at you, lord,
2)Yeah!
Some folks are born silver spoon in hand,
Lord, dont they help themselves, oh.
But when the taxman comes to the door,
Lord, the house looks like a rummage sale, yes,
3)Some folks inherit star spangled eyes,
Ooh, they send you down to war, lord,
And when you ask them, how much should we give?
Ooh, they only answer more! more! more! yoh
I basically get the drift, but id like to know what it means in more detail. Thanx
1) Most patriotic people are blue collar, they are the ones sent to war.
2) During Vietnam, many of the rich bought their way out of going. Also implies they cheat on their taxes. ![]()
3) Again patriotic people give the most during wars, that others start. Many give all.
Was there a particular line you were interested in?
