War French Artillery

Did KRUPP armamaments factory , located in Germany , produce weapons for French, Belgians too before WW1?
as was reading that the Belgians depended on concrete mounded artillery cannon guns (in the ground..similar to the maginot line ?) that were using cannons made by Krupp armamaents and specifically said they were German made..and that the German army during WW1 used "Big Bertha" cannons to destroy all the fortifications with these inside them...ALSO made by Krupp Armaments..(Even said the Big Bertha cannon was named after Krupps daughter)
how and why the Germans would sell war weapons and technology to their enemy..especially ones aimed at them?
how common again in WW2? and has Krupp armamaments ever been forced out of business? why not? and how they started too if you can explain
any details appreciated.
It's a fact that no armaments manufacturer can make a living selling only to the government of the country in which the manufacturer is situated. Unless it's a nationalised industry (as Krupp was for all practical purposes during WW2 - by Hitler's order all control was placed in the hands of one member of the Krupp family (Alfred, I think?) so that one person could himself be controlled by the Reich) the company can sell to whomsoever it wishes within reason. In Britain for example, arms can only be sold abroad to oppressive regimes if they are not the sort of weapons that might be used against the regime's own people but that doesn't mean that the weapons might not be used against us as both the British and Americans found found when we invaded Iraq. Weapons that we had willingly supplied to the Iraqis to help with their war against Iran could just as easily be used against invading forces from other countries including the forces of the countries that had supplied the weapons in the first instance. Similarly in the Falklands war, the greatest loss of British lives was caused by French Exocet missiles. Alliances are shifting all the time and weapons may be sold abroad to countries which are, if not allies are at least not hostile at the point at which they are sold as was the case of Krupp selling to other European nations prior to WW1. It is true that from the late 1800s the Germans had a ready made plan for invading their traditional enemy France and this plan involved marching their armies through Belgium to avoid the heavily fortified border between France and Germany but at the time the weapons were sold there was no indication that the plan was going to be put into effect (indeed if the German government had put pressure on Krupp not to supply the weapons, it might have tipped off the French and Belgians that a war was in the offing).
There are of course even less scrupulous arms dealers such as Bofors, a Swedish company. Sweden remained neutral throughout WW2 and made a fortune by selling weapons to both sides.

Facts about the Vietnam War
The Vietnam War was started in 1959 in an attempt to stop the spread of communism to neighboring countries. The country had split at the 17th parallel in 1954 when the French had attempted to takeover the country but was defeated at Dien Bien Phu. The split wasn't supposed to last, but an election was never held to reunite the North and South. The ruler in the North, Ho Chi Minh, did not agree with the anti-communist government in the South and started to support southern groups who rebelled against them, who became known as the Viet Cong. The Viet Cong did their best to fight the Southern Government but eventually North Vietnam infiltrated and the fighting became a full-fledged war. The United States had signed the Truman Doctrine in which they agreed to help in the assistance of any government who was trying to resist being taken over by communism and to stop the spreading of communism to neighboring countries. This was known as the domino theory.
They became involved in the early 1960's and starting deploying troops in 1965. While most people think a large number of these soldiers were drafted, 2/3 of them actually volunteered. Richard Nixon signed the Nixon doctrine after an attack in 1968 to withdraw troops in a process called Vietnamization. All U.S. troops were withdrawn by 1973 when the Paris Peace Accords were signed, although they continued to give economic aid to South Vietnam until North Vietnam ended the war in 1975 with the capture of Saigon.
There was a variety of weapons used in the Vietnam War including 40 different rifle types, 22 machine guns, grenades, rocket propelled grenades, artillery, armored vehicles, and chemical weapons. Some of the more popular tpyes of rifles were the M14, M16, and SKS carbine. the M3A1 "Grease Gun", and M60 were some of the machine guns. The AC130, AC119G, and Ac47 were some of the gunships that were used. There were also attack helicopters, fighters, bombers, tanks, jeeps, and naval patrol craft used.
The fatalities of the Vietnam War were astronomical. Over 3 million Vietnamese soldiers were killed, over 1.5 million soldiers from Laos and Cambodia were lost, and over 58,000 from the United States. Over 900,000 of the survivors of the war had to deal with wounds, amputations, and post traumatic stress disorder.
The Vietnam War has been publicly portrayed in a number of prominent films. Tax Driver, Apocalypse Now, Full Metal Jacket and Platoon are just some of those.
