War Toy Soldiers
Name of a toy that resembled micro machines, but they expanded, push a button, war mode or something?
I remember the commercial being something like, "Get ready to expand!" These were future military looking toys, the ones that I had were a Humvee looking jeep and a Hovercraft. The Humvee had a red button on the top middle part that with some kind of spring action made the truck transform into a mini base. The Hovercraft was larger, and it shot out a mini-boat from the front and expanded with the push of some red button in the middle. The little soldier men were very small, the good guys were solid white and bad guys were solid black? Very detailed little pieces of hard plastic i believe. The time frame could only be from around 1984 to 1995 max. I am from south Texas but i doubt this toy was only regionally based. ( There were no magnets or tv show or cartoon that these toys came from) The little soldiers were future looking and stuck in on position. One guy was kneeling shooting a big gun while other was standing. I have looked and asked people around me but no luck.
Sounds like M.A.S.K. but cant be I guess, cos the figures were all posable.

Toy Soldiers War
Lego type, Dragon themed medieval war sets from 6-9 years ago?
About 6-9 years ago, there were a set of toys that were medieval themed and each box ( there were 4-6 of these boxes ) had a landscape you could build and place with the others if you wanted, each box also contained a flag and toy soldiers (they looked like lego's, but they weren't and you could take their head, arms, and torso off (legs were attached (sort of)) and a Dragon came with each box, and it had a little gem that you could attack to its neck, it had a removable upper head and its wings and both appendages (legs and arms) could be separated. its a great set of toys from my younger youth and nostalgia is a glorious thing (I have a horrible nomadic life and it would really help me out)
I used to have the original "Yellow Castle" Lego set from waaaay back, the first mideval set you had to build brick by brick. Then several years later I got the "Grey Castle" Lego set that had hollow panel-like pieces that made up the walls, but neither of them had dragons. I don't remember coming across any Lego sets that match what you describe.
I remember getting a couple of Tyco Block sets for gifts they were Lego-like, but not all their pieces meshed well with my original Legos. I tried doing a search on Tyco castle sets, but none of them seemed to match either, then I ran across mention of Mega Bloks.
I never had Mega Bloks or even recall runninf across any of them, but when I did a further search I found some sets that I think match what you described. There are 3 that I came across...
