Apache Tan
Please help me name my dog!?
I just got a new dog. She's a year old, tan-and-black, german-shepherd chow mix. Very intelligent and full of energy. I'd name her bear if she was a boy, because her cute little ears stick straight up!
My other dog is named Lady, and I this one had the same name when I got her so I need to change her name.
I'm thinking... Foxy (she actually does look like a fox), Maggie, Lexi, Basil, Cairo, Cosmo, Dakota, Apache, Magic, Lucky, Sophie, Honey, Cha Cha, Sheila, Tango, Ferrari, Juno, or Zoey.
I want something unique that matches her looks and energy level.

I like Foxy. But why not go different, name her ROXY?! Its cute and bouncy!

What can I do?
My dog, Apache (Shewana's Sonak Boom CGC TDI) is a sweet white/tan GSD. He knows that I'm the boss, and wants nothing more than to be by my side. He has the opposite personality of most GSD. My problem is that he usually holds his ears back in a submissive position. I don't hit him or do anything to make him afraid of me. I Just want to know how to fix this, if possible, because he looks even more awesome when his ears are up, and it helps his appearance when we're showing too. Please no condescending remarks, and it's not anything genetic, I just want to know if there is a way I can fix/change how he holds them.
Ps. I will not tape ears!
He is a tan color, but according to AKC standards and how he looked as a puppy, he is considered and I believe registered as a white. (I didn't mean he is white and tan.)
Try encouraging him when you are in front of him with excited/encouraging voices (the tone of your voice I mean) and see if his ears prick forward. We used to have a GSD that did the same. You almost couldnt tell he was a Shepherd when he had them back!
