i have the original wickerman on dvd 2 discs. one. the original theatrical version and the other the director's cut.
a film by robin hardy. voted britains best horror movie.
it was set on a remote scottish island.
so why make a newer version today which is set in the U.S. ??
cant be original .
I love the original Wicker Man movie too - the remake will definitely be shit I'm sure. Hollywood can't better a film that is as good as the original Wicker Man - a pointless remake.

Why don't we get more drama and less reality TV?
More Dr Who, Torchwood, Robin Hood, Merlin, Tess of the D'Ubervilles, Jane Eyre, Lost in Austen etc
And less Strictly Come Dancing, Big Brother, X Factor, Britains Got Talent, American Idol, Z-List celebs and their "talk" shows etc etc?
Imagine if you took all reality TV shows off the air, we would have practically nothing to watch! lol.
But I definately agree with you. Except X factor auditions because they're cool =)
