British Returning

It is reported that Polish immigrants are returning home ?
Recently in the British news it has been reported that Polish immigrants are returning to their homeland becuase pay and conditions are better than those offered in Britain.
Is this true or merely an attempt by the British Government to allay fears over uncontrolled immigration.
Hi, I'm polish and that's true that we are going home.
The first reason is that polish economy gets better and currency is getting stronger ( last year one english pound = six and a half polish zlotys, this year one pound = four polish zlotys, and when you count it you'll find out that earnings here and in poland are very similar right now ).
We didn't come here to settle down. Only small amount of poles is going to stay here for good. There was a time when the situation in Poland was bad. The old goverment had views from XVII century. Young poles left their homeland, but they said that if the situation will improve they come back. We have a new goverment now and a lot of us decided to go home.
There is no way to get british benefits back in Poland and I don't know why british people think that we came here for benefits. I've never got any benefit and I've never applied for one. I know some polish people here and none of them gets benefits. I also never sent a penny to my homeland. I live here, I pay my bills here and I spend my money here.
We also know we are not welcome here. Media attacks us, british people dislike us. Poles suffer from racial harrassment. my car was damaged. Who wants to live like that?
im sorry that some of you has never met nice poles:((( we are not all the same.
and i want you to know that we didn't come here just like that. When poland joined UE someone put adverts in polish media, that Britain needs workers. That was on tele, radio, in newspapers...
sorry for my english, im still learning. hope you understood what i meant.

| | Returning Home (Dodo Press) $18.77 Anthony Trollope (18151882) was one of the most successful, prolific and respected English novelists of the Victorian era. He wrote penetrating novels on political, social, and gender issues and conflicts of his day. In 1867 Trollope left his position in the British Post Office to run for Parliament as a Liberal candidate in 1868. After he lost, he concentrated entirely on his literary career. While continuing to produce novels rapidly, he also edited the St Pauls Magazine, which published several of his novels in serial form. His first major success came with The Warden (1855) the first of six novels set in the fictional county of Barsetshire. The comic masterpiece Barchester Towers (1857) has probably become the bestknown of these. Trollopes popularity and critical success diminished in his later years, but he continued to write prolifically, and some of his later novels have acquired a good reputation. In particular, critics generally acknowledge the sweeping satire The Way We Live Now (1875) as his masterpiece. In all, Trollope wrote fortyseven novels, as well as dozens of short stories and a few books on travel.
