Why i love military stuff so much?
I am 25 year old male. Indoor type guy. Even though i don like serving Army, but i kept a HUGE collection of military models at home like tanks, halftracks, jeeps, etc. And now i just intrested in Battleships of modern and WW2. My friends and family complained that its too much, possible enough to creat a room display musuem. ask me to sell away but i don bear to. I had been building them since 4-5 years ago till now. Why am i so poisoned to it?
Build a shelf really high and go all around the room.... then they are safe and you can see them but not be tripping over collection. Hobbies are hard to give up and your not hurting anyone.

Hand painting military models/soldiers:1/32 - 1/72. How do I get better results?
I am not a PC Whizzkid so do you know where I could buy step by step books about the above mentioned subject? A few tips would come in handy as well. I really love my hobby and have earned a few bob selling such over on ebay.
However, I could improve a great deal yet but I have'nt a clue as to what to do. It seems that it is a well kept secret or something because I tried for ages to get the info I want and the various magazines offer even less info for people wanting to learn. If anyone could give me any ideas, I would be extremely greatful.

Historical model painting is a highly competitive field actually. As is the fanstasy models. People take a lot of pride in their dioramas and some can be q uite tight lipped about their techniques.
I searched on YouTube and got 161 hits using the phrase "painting miniatures". Although a lot of the focus is on Warhammer miniatures
