Can a left hand/inswing door be changed to a right hand/outswing door?
isn't the hinge pin just flipped to the outside so instead of pushing the door in you pull the door open now?
Physically, yes it can be done. But you`re talking lots of filling, sanding, and remortising,IF IT`S AN INTERIOR DOOR! An exterior door, forget it. I would go new either way. Elimate the headaches.

Where can I find hinged mounting pins for my Kenmore sewing machine?
I have a swing-down Kenmore/Sears machine, cabinet-mounted, model 158.1301. I have a cabinet that needs the hinge pins for it, model number 566.107. Sears does not carry the parts anymore. I have searched a lot and found nihl. Anyone that can help me out is appreciated.

start looking in thrift stores (Goodwill, etc.) or on craigslist.com for your area and I'll bet you can find a cheap cabinet that has what your looking for.

it's a hinge that allows you to just lift the door off the hinge pin without any tools. the hinges that are common today have several knuckles that intermesh and the hinge pin goes through them all. You have to pull the pin out to separate the hinge. Some older door hinges just have two knuckles, and the pin is permanently fixed in the lower one, sticking up. so the upper knuckle from the other half of the hinge just slips down onto the pin and is held there by gravity, thus you just open the door and you can lift it right off the pin and remove the door.
