Soldier Spotlight

Is A-Rod an all about me kind of player? Do the Red Sox need to know?
After attempting to steal the spotlight from a team (Boston) that played together as such in another classic world series, Alex Rodriguez decided he is worth much more than the team he played for, and opted to seek more money than a human being possibly needs to make sure he can escape from reality-that being that he is a selfish, arrogant waste of talent who will never wear a champion's ring. I have heard he will make $146,000 a day when the unfortunate team that does sign him finally buys into the sucker punch that has been Alex's career. Isn't a soldier worth much more though? I for one hope he is boycotted this year, since he obviously has no regard for character or appreciation for the team he had the best chance to win with. I being a Red Sox fan hope beyond all else that ownership keeps loyalty alive with a resigning of the best team player in the game-Mike Lowell, and tells A Rod and his braggart agent to shove it. We won it all without him-we don't need him or want him.
I actually feel bad for the guy. I agree the timing was bad - but he has an mvp year and still got booed by the yankee fans. i don't even think it's about the money - i just don't think he liked it in ny... and he couldnt even play his natural position there.

| | Soldier $32.88 For this comprehensive biography of the famed general Colin Powell, Karen DeYoung draws on her access to Powell?s papers as well as several lengthy interviews with the former Secretary of State. She charts his beginnings in the Bronx, his rise in the military, and his service as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, where he led Operation Desert Storm. DeYoung explains how Powell`s sense of service to his country, and the great trust Americans had in him, may have placed him in the spotlight as the spokesperson for the decision to go to war in Iraq, and she explores the reasons why he left his position in the Bush administration. |

AFN Spotlight - Humphreys Soldiers compete in Best Warrior Competition
Does Cindy Shehan make anybody else sick? She surely has enjoyed becoming a celebrity due to her son's death.
She just loves being in the spotlight. I wonder if she knows her son volunteered for the military. Hello?? We don't have the draft anymore!! Now, i am sorry that her son died. He is a brave american soldier and nothing she does should take away from that. But her actions are deplorable. Maybe that's why her sane husband divorced her.
Cindy Sheehan was devasteated by the loss of her son. She mismanaged her grief leading to affairs and finally divorce.
George Soros, hero to the Democrats, used Sheehan as a tool against the Bushes to express his hate for them. Soros bought the Crawford ranch for Sheehan.

It seems her nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize may be a bit premature.
