tank-mates for guppies ?
hey, ive just purchased the jewel lido 120 aquarium and i am going to put some guppys in there with a pleco. i was wondering what other fish i could put in which wouldnt tail bite the guppys. also i may breed the guppys !
my tank is 120litres

by "some guppies" i mean 3 female and one male
and the pleco im thnkning about it a whiptail, is that too big ? :S
It's all about the kind of Pleco.... some grow 1",some grow to 40"... just find out which one you have.
Your working with almost 32 gallonsUS (for the metrically-challenged),so you have plenty of options.Unfortunately "some guppies" doesn't tell how many... that'd help a little with recommendations.
If looking to breed guppies than something that won't eat them would be prefered.... SMALL Tetras like Neons,Cardinals,or Pristells or Cory Catfish of some type (or Otocinclus Catfish).

They only get 1.5" max,they shoal,and they go every where (not just the bottom) in the tank.They are no bigger threat to guppy fry than any other fish.

How often should I clean my juwel fish tank - its a lido 120?

You should do a partial water change once a week and clean the filter once weekly -clean the filter in the water that you took out of the aquarium. Good luck
