Does Nutrafin Cycle work for fish tanks?
I got a fish tank a few days ago (small, about 6 gallons), and the guy at the aquarium told me that if I used the Nutrafin Cycle product, I could have fish in the tank within three days. Now that I read up on it, it doesn't sound very beneficial or efficient. What do you know about it? What does it do? What are your experiences?
Hi, this product is used to begin the bacteria growth in the aquarium. You should set up the aquarium and let it run with the nutrafin cycle for about 5-7 days, then add 2 small(5cm) fish to begin the cycling. I would suggest getting danios as the first fish as they are very hardy. If it dosen't have a heater, then you should get some white cloud mountain minnows. After about 1 month, you can add some more fish(only 1-2 fish), then after 2 weeks you can add more.
