Can I upgrade my Graphics/Video on my Sony VAIO desktop?
I have a Sony VAIO VGC-LS1, it's from 2006. I have a great want to upgrade the Graphics/Video by installing a video card. I play games on my system and I’ve noticed that performance runs very well, but the graphics are appalling (Well not that bad, but it's irritating). Now, I’m not very computer savvy, but I'll give some details about my system. The computer itself is all in one. The hardrive and all the components are in the case/monitor. It's basically a three piece unit, the computer/case/monitor, the mouse and the keyboard.
This is the size of the case:
Width: 21 in
Depth: 7.5 in
Height: 15.5
My current graphics/video info:
Internal, Intel GMA 950, Dynamic Video Memory Technology 3.0, 128 MB RAM
So... Can I upgrade this? Possibly? Please and thankyou ![]()
If you need any more details about my PC just ask! Thanks Again!
No, I don't think you can as this model is not like the traditional desktop; it's more like a laptop where you can't change the graphics card.

Where did all of my disk space go?
Okay....I am very tech savvy, but I can't figure this one out. I am looking for some advice.
I am running Vista on a Sony VGC-LS30E computer. It has a 225 GB capacity. About four days ago, I had about 160 GB free. Now I go to look at my computer and that number shot all the way down to 4.2 GB!!!!! I have various programs, but once i saw the lack of disk space, I did everything i knew how to do. I did a disk defragment, a disk cleanup (twice), scanned for viruses with three different softwares (Comodo Firewall, Norton AntiVirus, Windows Defender), and uninstalled half of my programs. Between the time that I had 160 GB and 4.2 GB, I used my compter maybe three times. Now I am at a loss, after countless hours of researching. Every time I check the hard drive capacity, it changes. Between a five minute time span, it went from 6.8 GB down to 5.9 GB. I have no idea what to do from here, so any and all advice is appreciated!
Sounds like you have a rogue process, perhaps writing errors to a log file that has grown unreasonably large. I'd use Vista's search feature to search for files larger than 200MB.
