What caused germany to lose the battle of britain?
A: Forming an alliance with Russia
B: Invading England on land
C: Pulling back to the Maginot Line
D: Sending part of the air force to the eastern front
I'm guessing B, but then again I'm just guessing so do you know the answer?
None of those that I can see. Not one of those answers is applicable to Germany's loss in the battle of Britain. B didn't happen at all. C is meaningless. D didn't happen till 1941 long after the battle of Britain ended.

Battle of Britain - Opening
What do you thinks the overall significance of a British victory in the Battle of Britain during World War 2?
I know the Eastern Front proved decisive but how much of an affect do you think it had?

I read somewhere that the British fought on morals and principle, rather than other countries that only did so after being attacked.
That soggy island had defeated the Luftwaffe's best efforts before the Soviets were even involved in the Second World War. The mauling that the Luftwaffe received meant that by the time Barbarossa was launched it was a shade of the force that had successfully invaded Poland, Scandinavia, Belgium, the Netherlands and France. Replacing aircraft was, relatively, easy, replacing aircrew was not.
Morale-wise it cannot be overstated how important this victory was to the British public after the debacle in France and the Dunkirk evacuation. It was also the first major setback for the Axis. The defeat of Operation Sealion meant that there remained one nation in Europe from which an assault on Nazi-occupied Europe could be mounted.
