An issue on purchase of flat.Builder of flat cancelled allotment for delay payment by loan agency/actionbyme?
I recently had a bad experience with related to my effort to Purchase a flat in Chennai.
I had booked a flat in Nov'05 with a leading real estate firm in Chennai paying Rs.1 Lakh as advance.
Till April'06 the builder was having issues with the apporoval for the project from the Metro authority.
Once the approval is obtained,they asked 40% of the property value.Due to loan approval processing delay
by the housing loan agency,i was unable to make the payment immediately.Meanwhile,the builder had cancelled
my flat allotment in the project and returned the money.When he cancelled the allotment I had paid them nearly
10% of the property value from my own contribution.
What action I can take on him and as well as the loan agency who were causing the dealy?
Well, since no one has answered yet I will mention a few things. First of all if you were repaid the entire amount you may not be able to easily claim a loss in court. You would have to prove that the property value improved or that you had hardship while waiting or something. What does your contract say about payments and timing. Real estate is reaching it's peak and starting to decline do you really want that property anymore? You can discuss your concerns with perhaps the local realtor board. You might have to check with a lawyer for the real answer as this is a matter of contract law. Good luck!

In the book twilight, when Edward told Alice to "keep her opinions to herself", what did he mean?
When Edward was trying to lead Bella away from the Tracker, Alice and Emmitt were gonna take Bella away, and Edward just flat out told Alice to keep her opinions to herself. I am really confused, I just want to know what he meant by that. thanks
Alice had foreseen that Bella would eventually become a vampire herself Edward didn't want that for Bella so he said to keep your opinions to yourself hope this clears things up
