How can a woman find an Indian guy attractive?
So I was with my friend yesterday, he is a nerdy (wears glasses), kind of well built Indian guy and he is about 6"1. Thing is that he is light yellow so people confuse him with Hispanic all the time. Now I was walking through the mall with him and we were waiting in line at this store, both of us were getting a videogame. Well two Asian girls were in line too (they looked really good), they completely ignored me and started talking to my friend. I said hi to them, they waved, looked away and started talking to my friend again and they gave him their number without him even asking them for it. I mean he does it multiple times, he did it last week, funny thing is that he is still in a relationship with his girlfriend (who is also Indian) and he simply talks to me afterwards about how he is confused as to why girls would want him, then he laughs it off.
I never got it, how can women find a nerd attractive?
because those girls aren't shallow like u, he probably has a good personality, most nerds are smart and caring what girl wouldent want that, stop thinking that everything depends on looks cause it doesn't personality comes first

Trying to find the name of an Indian Spice?
My friend is after a particual spice, well we think its a spice. It comes in square tin with a round hole in the top. It looks like a tin from the 50s/60s. We think thr tin maybe yellow and purple. Does anyone have a clue what this is, obviously she is after this particular brand. Thanks to anyone who may be able to shed some light on this!
it could be either paprika or 'asafoetida' (hing)
There's a brand of paprika which sells different types, including smoked paprika. That's sold in small, square tins with a round lid in the top that you rpise off. The brand is 'Brindisi', have a look at the web to see if you recognise it.
However, it's not a particularly indian spice, most of the Brindisi tins are red/yellow and it's one of the smoked ones which is yellow/purple and I doubt they use that in Indian cooking.
it could be something called Asafoetida in English, or simply Hing in Hindu. It's got a distinctive smelly oniony sort of smell, most people don't like the raw smell, but that cooks out in a curry or something, and it's a nice subtle taste, which has the side-effect of reducing flatulence.
it's usually sold in yellow plastic tubs with a blue/purple label. Smaller tubs tend to be round, but I've seen larger square ones. There probably is a brand as all the containers are the same ni whichever shop you go in, but I've no idea what it is.
