i've got this idea for my fantasy book ?
right, but i'm little unsure?
i love japanese culture, but i don't ant to move too far away from british origin, if you know what i mean -
the protoganist is an orphan who goes to a school of magic, and he see's these ghostly warriors.
they have painted faces of white and elaborate regalia, quite like kimono, but obviously the men would be toned down alittle.
so they're abit like geisha, but with boys and men aswell.
any opinions or anything guys? thanks!
there doesn't seem to be anything there that is british and i don't know of any ghostly warriors or magic schools in japan!
kimono are simply wrap around dresses not elaborate regalia
i think you need to do quite a bit of research of you are writing for other people to read and not just for personal satisfaction
