Call of duty 3 achievements, cant understand wording?

Call of duty 3 achievements, cant understand wording?

Hi i cant really understand the wording of the achievement, as i quote, it states....
Assault Trooper (15)
Complete a mission by firing only assault rifles. Melee attacks don't count.

does this mean, you can use melee or not use melee, and also what guns count as assault rifles?????

Hot Potato
Pick up and return 5 live grenades.

also does this mean do this in a level or the whole game, as i am sure that i have returned 5 live grenades in the game, do they have to kill them or be in the same mission??????

HELP THIS IS DOING MY HEAD IN!!!!!!!!!!!

For assault trooper, go on Level 2 The Island and use ONLY the BAR the entire level, do not melee or throw any grenades.

For hot potatoe just throw grenades back 5 times in a LEVEL, it does not have to kill them...try doing hot potatoe on the Fuel Plant lvl.
