Army Set If i signed up for the army could it be possible to delay my basic training ship date?
Ok i signed up for the army and im set to leave in a few weeks but i want to get in better shape before i leave for bt. Id like atleast 2 more weeks. I already signed my contract and everything but is it possible for me to delay going for another few weeks or so?
As a couple others said, you might lose the things you have in your contract, such as your MOS, bonus, etc. This is because after BT they've got a slot waiting for you at AIT for whatever your MOS is, and if you don't take it then they'll give it to someone else. Then when you're ready there may or may not be another slot.
I really don't think two weeks would make much difference in your physical condition. If you can't pass the PT test when you get there you'll be waitlisted, but other than that you'll most likely just need to struggle along during BT until you get into the shape you want/need to be in.

Comedian Pauly Shore goes to boot camp in this comedy adventure set in Chad. It was filmed on location in the California and Arizona deserts.
