How does the British Army treat vegetarians?

Hi, I have been a vegetarian for a few years now, although recenty began eating seafood again. I am interested in joining the Army (the Intelligence Corps specifically, although I doubt that makes a difference in the circumstance), but what wondering how my lifestyle would fit in? I know vegetarians are often painted as fussy or awkward, but I assure you that I would understand if I had to make serious decisions in order to join. I ask simply in the hope that it will not cause a problem or force me into such a sacrifice, and would appreciate any knowledge or experience regarding the issue. Thanks

Have no fear even the Army can cater for your needs!
In barracks there is clearly no problem as caterers are contacted to supply dietary and ethnically correct food. Even on exercise or active service this is not a problem as Composite Rations (Compo) includes
the necessary variations. For example there are currently 5 different vegetarian menus in the 24hr ration pack range. Can't guarantee that you could expect to get a different one every day. But operationally food is energy as it were.
